Eco Resort Inn opened its doors on December 23, 1997. It has been expanded with a new wing on October 30, 2004. This 122 room hotel is the perfect combination of architectural history and natural comfort in Suriname.

The Welcome Centre is a renovated old plantation house where you can find our reception and Bougainville terrace and Toucan Bar. Our Riverside Cabana is a great location for group meals, informal meetings and receptions.

The hotel - situated along the Suriname River - is within walking distance from the beautiful Palm Tree Garden and the Water Front right next to the old Fort Zeelandia. Besides the historical surroundings Eco Resort Inn is located in the middle of the entertainment area with many welcoming restaurants, bars and terraces with live music and shops. This so-called SUP (Foundation Entertainment Area Paramaribo) area is the place where locals and visitors meet.
A ten minutes walk takes you into the downtown area where Paramaribo's unique traditional architecture will be yours to admire (Unesco World Heritage list -symmetry in wood-).
